Are you interested in the inner structure of the Beijing National Stadium? And do you want to see it by yourself? Then come to Beijing and start your terrific Beijing Tour!
The Bird's Nest also known as National Stadium, was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. From the distance, the stadium looks like a gigantic collective shape, like a vessel whose undulating rim echoes the rising and falling ramps for spectators inside the stadium. From this distant perspective, one can clearly distinguish not only the rounded shape of the building but also the grid of the load-bearing structure, which encases the building, but also appears to penetrate it.What is seen from afar as a geometrically clear-cut and rational overall configuration of lines, evaporates the closer one comes, finally separating into huge separate components. The components look like a chaotic thicket of supports, beams and stairs, almost like an artificial forest.
The 7th session under the theme of "Icy Bird's Nest,Passionate Winter Olympics" is held at the Bird's Nest from December 19, 2015 to February 28, 2016. The stadium turns into a ski resort during this period.Tourists have opportunities to take part in more than 30 kinds of sports and entertainment activities, such as ski jumping, ice skating, snow tubing, bumper car on the ice and biathlon.
